My highest recommendation for this gem currently streaming on Shudder. Oddity is everything I needed a modern horror movie to be. We watched it last night and it was delightfully terrifying.

I saw this on Shudder a few months ago, and overall, it's pretty good. I would have loved to see a couple of things happen differently than they did though.
Have you seen NOSFERATU yet? It's a film that needs to be seen in the theaters, it's amazing. I'd give it a rating of 9.5/10.
I did see Nosferatu and I was a bit underwhelmed unfortunately. Just didn’t connect with it. Love his other films though.

I think I've had Oddity just sitting in the queue through the entire holiday season, and just haven't managed to get around to it for whatever reason...I'll move it up!
I agree! This was such a great film, and I was pretty much hooked upon seeing the blind sister's curiosities shop. One question that I had (and may have just missed it), but how did this same character actually arrive at her late sister's home--assuming that her lack of vision prevented her from driving? Anyway, it was fun. Happy 2025, Rot!
