All Souls

The small parade moved, soundless, past the eternally revolving, ending-but-unending candy serpentine of Mr. Crosetti’s barber pole, past all the darkening or darkened shops, the emptying streets, for people were home now from the church suppers, or out at the carnival for the last side show or the last high-ladder diver floating like milkweed down the night.

Something Wicked This Way Comes, Ray Bradbury

Excited to present The 2012 Haunt of Rhode Montijo ...

Pure Halloween Spirit in physical form.

This guy knows the definition of overkill, and pulls it off beautifully. Never thought a cardboard mask could be scary.

This is one of my favorite displays of 2012, which is saying a lot because there are MANY great displays this year.

It's glorious. What a distinctive style. Reminds me of the cover of Voivod's "AngelRat".

That's just amazing...

I'm kinda speechless. The simplicity of it and yet so amazingly striking. You could walk around it for an hour snapping random photos and every one would be incredible.

Here's what I love most about this - it is still incredibly creepy in broad daylight. No special lighting required - that's hardcore.

And completely brilliant.
