UGH. I totally forgot about this song, what a nightmarish song it is to.

and LONG.
I felt like it wouldn't end.
Though I must confess to digging the use of the Elm Street theme/motif.

Lol jerks. This song is RAD. Totally embodies my childhood.

Cringe. That beginning though.....
And c’mon Rot, this is waaaay better than the new Halloween soundtrack.
Hahaha.

It has such an oddball history too. Originally recorded and pitched to be included in the fourth Elm St. flick, but ultimately rejected. Jeff & Will decided to include it on their album, and even had it as a single. The single was pulled, and the video never went into circulation. Oddly, several different versions of the song exist, each with slightly different lyrics. It's goofy as all get-out...but I kinda love the end part when "Freddy" dispatches DJ Jazzy Jeff!

Thanks, Gill-Man.
I actually enjoy this song and was expecting certain lyrics when he gets his shirt slashed and I wrote it off as my ancient memory fading and me going slowly mad when they weren't as i remembered. Happy to hear there are different versions of this song out there.

Totally rad, sara.

Will runnin around in that nightie dress/ tee & sleeping cap...HAHAHAHHAHA!!!! just totally kept me thinkin how he looked like some sorta crazy ass version of Ebeneezer Scrooge in a Christmas Carol. i would LOVE to hear what Robert Englund thinks of that voodoo albino Fred dude (Or is he supposed to be Jacob Marley) HAHAHAHAH!!! i can totally DIG it tho man. i am down.<333

Jazzy tho..always was/is the REAL musical genius between the two. no offense to Will, but, that's how it is & i think Will would agree as well. Jazzy is STILL spinnin strong & bringing down the houses. old school sensei.
