@Jay's Shadow - If you take the leap, 3D prints have gone way down in filament cost. If you have mould making experience or interest then you can equip yourself with a never ending supply for a bit cheaper. The stuff you can print out will work in every aspect of your life from hobby to business.
With a bit of Bondo and sanding, you can make the initial skull super smooth.

I have wanted to do something like this, but those skulls are SO expensive.
Now I’m heading to eBay to look at some skulls.........
The bodies are really smart. I've seen a few people use the leg bones of plastic skeletons as arms and i think that's a brilliant idea.
