So many amazing entries this year (the creepy kid on the horse and the pumpkin head [both made by the same artist {in different categories}] are my faves).
If you're anywhere near Lahaska, PA, I can't recommend a trip there strongly enough. Some great restaurants too.

Those are all very cool, especially the Count Orlock one, along with the girl on the horse. I wish we had something similar up here in Skagit County since it's a big farming community. We've even lost our pumpkin patch after more than 20 years of visiting this year. I probably bought 100's of pumpkins, along with loads of dead pumpkin vines for the haunt I used to put on at our place.
Cruella DeVille is a whole lot of fun too - love those dalmatian skeletons
Wow, the creepy kid on a horse is fantastic. Would love to see that in person.
Amazing work on display there...I really like that Wednesday and the Maggoty Scarecrow.
I do think there is a 'moment in time' quality to Creepy Horse Kid and Pumpkin Head that sets them apart, though.
Those particular poses look as though a photo was snapped in the middle of some action vs. something that was stationed for a portrait. Especially the Pumpkin Head pose, and, of course, the head / face sculpts are just really compelling.
(Incidentally, several of these entries make it look as though things have advanced to the point where the voters could properly appreciate a Pumpkinrot scarecrow now?)
These are fun! We have a contest in my city neighborhood, but I I've only found one entry (I don't qualify with a whole display).
