Picked up the Buttered Rum mix from this company and love it. I've always heard about hot buttered rum, but never tried it. Was checking out their site this morning and saw this awesomeness:

Is it like mulled wine, only with rum??? I like my rum in the style of Ernest Hemingway, that is to say a mojito, but thats just me.
The mixture is different than the mulling spices in that it's meant to be dissolved. It's brown sugar and spices and lemon. The hot buttered rum drink is boiled water, melted butter, a jigger of rum, and a tablespoon and a half of the buttered rum mixture. Unique flavor. The lemon is the key.
Had it in hot milk too. Wonderful stuff.
