Interesting. It says on his Flickr page that he paints on silver canvas. I can't find any product by that name so I assume that he paints his canvas silver first (or uses a specialized canvas)and that's why he uses so much thinner-so the silver shows through. If that's the case, his stuff must look even more interesting in person.
