Aside from playing Dracula, Frankenstein and Fu Manchu, I'll always remember him as Jekyll and Hyde in I, Monster (or "Dr. Marlowe and Mr. Blake", rather). Also dug his narration for documentaries like In Search of Dracula and 100 Years of Horror.
I think I'm being honest in saying I knew who Christopher Lee was before any other public figure, before sports or anything else there was Famous Monsters...and Scooby Doo. A great life, RIP Sir indeed.
Turner Classic Movies (TCM) just announced a full day of Christopher Lee films on June 22. It looks like they are going to be playing quite a few of his early Hammer works:

Classic Horror's last icon has passed. If there is an afterlife he's surely somewhere having tea with Peter Cushing..
RIP Christopher Lee

Damn he was almost 100 years old. I still celebrate May Day every year with the Wicker Man.
Dusty Rhodes too! Shitty day.
So sad! Goodbye Mr. Lee.
Fare thee well, Sir Christopher.
