“...an artisan bourbon that celebrates Captain Kirk’s bold spirit of adventure.”
The new Kirk Bourbon is a small batch release selected from choice barrels aged between 4-12 years. According to Silver Screen Bottling, the Star Trek whiskey “exhibits a depth and richness seen in only the finest examples of bourbon with notes of caramel, Asian 5 spice and pecan” which is “crafted with the highest respect for the whiskey and for the man that bears its name.”
I'd still feel dumb ordering it or asking for it in a bar (assuming I saw the bottle sitting on a shelf [God, imagine if you ordered it and it wasn't there.]).
Though I'd buy Romulan Ale if they made it. Regardless of what it tasted like.
Interesting article though no mention of the Witch from The Wizard of Oz... (or my personal favorite witch/warlock - MR. CONAL COCHRAN, from Halloween III: Season of the Witch.

Looks like Pier 1 is already selling their Halloween lineup for this coming season.
I've already ordered the below items. Can't wait to get them in the mail:
Black cats and goblins and broomsticks and ghosts,
Covens of witches with all of their hosts.
You may think they scare me, you're probably right.
Black cats and goblins, on Halloween night.
Trick or treat!
Amazing and wonderfully unique FAKE rotting pumpkins. I must confess I thought these were real at first. Click below to see a bunch of photos of these guys and a ton of great Halloween props by Cathy LeBeau...
Looks like Etsy.com is making some unfavorable changes to sellers and buyers soon... Sam's having a close-out sale of sorts.

Really pleased with the garden this year...seemed to have really come to life. Planted a Japanese herb last year called the red shiso, and the plant seeded and now I think I'm on the verge of ruining the neighborhood ecology, as it's EVERYWHERE...even in the backyard (assumed the lawnmower was the carrier)...you'll see it growing and spreading out into the grass. I kinda love the color. Everywhere you see purple, that's the shiso plant. And I didn't plant it this season. It came up on its own.
Look in the grass!!! SHISO! |
