I was late seeing this one. But since watching, I have found myself thinking about the tale and the creatures featured in it. I know it got mixed reviews, but I found it pretty interesting, and definitely creepy.

I had somehow missed that this even existed, so thanks for the post.
Oz just seems to make divisive movies, but thus far I seem to consistently fall in the camp that really enjoys his approach to film making.
The trailer (and mixed reception, frankly) is encouraging as it doesn't seem like he's doing anything to mollify the detractors, so I'll tack this one up on the list.
The creature designs were definitely different, but the storyline was well done. I liked it.
