Rowhouse Spirits' Anchovy Citrus Akavit

And then both stench and sounds grew stronger, so that I paused shivering and grateful for the cut’s protection. It was here, I recalled, that the Rowley road drew so close to the old railway before crossing westward and diverging. Something was coming along that road, and I must lie low till its passage and vanishment in the distance. Thank heaven these creatures employed no dogs for tracking—though perhaps that would have been impossible amidst the omnipresent regional odour. Crouched in the bushes of that sandy cleft I felt reasonably safe, even though I knew the searchers would have to cross the track in front of me not much more than a hundred yards away. I would be able to see them, but they could not, except by a malign miracle, see me.

I will absolutely get my hands on this offering from Rowhouse Spirits...

Merry Merry

Cheers, everyone.

Hope you all have a peaceful and magical Christmas.

And a healthy one!

I was the victim of two of these dranks last evening.  No regrets.

Two Weeks

I just became painfully aware that Christmas is only two weeks away.  And I'm still just not feeling it.  A favorite watering hole closed last year and that totally would have helped with the Christmas Spirit (with spirits)...

I was lucky enough to have drinks there on its final night on the earth.

Some photos below of its glory days (best dranks in the world)... And their holiday dranks were totally primo.  Dranks, man.

Dranks Of The Season

Going through old photos, and this one was a nice memory.

Just got done carving the pumpkins for this year's display and poured a nice drank:  some Noble Oak bourbon, as one of the new jackos watched on (probably thankful I drank AFTER carving its face).

A fine drank.

But then I noticed two ghostly figures in the reflection in the glass:
The one on the left looks like a ghostly monk.  The one on the right looks like a ghostly Sleestak.
