We have been watching old Paranormal Witness episodes and one delt with a pretty chilling tale which resulted in the first televised exorcism (1971). I had never heard of this haunting before so the second the episode was over, we searched to see if we could find the footage. Thankfully it was on YouTube.

William Friedkin's The Devil And Father Amorth
The documentary looks at how the exorcism in the movie compares to a real exorcism. The film’s title comes from the filmmaker’s ability to attend Father Gabiele Amorth’s ninth exorcism — it took place with an Italian woman who had been experiencing behavioral changes and “fits” that could not be explained by psychiatry; they became worse during Christian holidays.
Known as the “Dean of exorcists,” Father Amorth performed thousands of these rituals to rid evil from the human body. On the Italian woman, Father Amorth and the demon inside the woman began conversing in Latin, a language that the woman did not know.

Live Exorcism
What could possibly go wrong?
Destination America announces it will host the first LIVE
televised exorcism in U.S. history, “EXORCISM: LIVE!” on Friday, October
30, 2015, at 9/8c. The network dedicated to all-American entertainment
will revisit the story and the frightening house that inspired the
iconic movie The Exorcist on its 66th anniversary this October. The live
event will take place at the original Exorcist House in the suburbs of
St. Louis, where the infamous ritual was performed on Roland Doe in
1949. No one has ever attempted to rid the lurking spirits and demons
that inhabit this home… until now.
“EXORCISM: LIVE!” will feature Destination America’s cast of the
hit series “GHOST ASYLUM,” the Tennessee Wraith Chasers, as well as
world-renowned psychic medium Chip Coffey. Follow along as the team
embarks on what is considered by many a dangerous search. They will
explore each crevice of this terrifying home, from the attic to the
basement, to find whatever or whoever has scared Americans to death for
decades. The ghost hunting team will use state-of-the-art technology to
do daytime and nighttime investigations, documenting as much evidence as
they can of these true-life demonic entities on live TV.
“As we step into one of the most haunted and well-known spirit
destinations in America, ‘EXORCISM:LIVE!’ will show exactly what is
inside this infamous, highly dangerous, and possessed home.” said Marc
Etkind, general manager of Destination America. “By actually exorcising
this iconic house live, Destination America will do what it does best —
bringing never-before-seen experiences to television.”

If What You Say Is True, Then You Should Consult A Priest.
When the sound became audible again, it was no longer in the upstairs
bedroom but had moved downstairs to the boy’s bedroom. It was heard as
the sound of squeaking shoes along the bed and was heard only at night
when the boy went to bed. The squeaking sound continued for six nights,
on the sixth night scratching again was audible.

Exorcismus
While the number of genuine cases of possession by the Devil remained relatively small, "we must be on guard because occult and Satanist practices are spreading a great deal, in part with the help of the internet and new technologies that make it easier to access these rituals," he said.
The Vatican's chief exorcist claimed last year that the Devil lurked in the Vatican, the very heart of the Catholic Church.

Dripping
January 15, 1949—A dripping noise was heard in his grandmother’s bedroom by the boy and his grandmother. A picture of Christ on the wall shook and scratching noises were heard under the floor boards. From that night on scratching was heard every night from 7 p.m. until midnight. This continued for ten consecutive days. After three days of silence, the boy heard nighttime “squeaking shoes” on his bed that continued for six consecutive nights.
