If What You Say Is True, Then You Should Consult A Priest.

When the sound became audible again, it was no longer in the upstairs bedroom but had moved downstairs to the boy’s bedroom. It was heard as the sound of squeaking shoes along the bed and was heard only at night when the boy went to bed. The squeaking sound continued for six nights, on the sixth night scratching again was audible.

I'll never mess with another Ouija board ever again.....

Once is enough.
You're going to hear dripping water sounds and scratching tonight at 3am.

Ugh. And I thought it was just the dog drooling or scratching behind his ear.

have you guys really used the ouija?

Rot said...

As a boy, yes.
We did some weird things like place a 100 year old bible on a board and snap a photograph and wait impatiently while the film was developed. Nothing showed up.
And, thankfully, nothing ever happened.

ohhhhhhh, that's wild.
Boys are soooo Brave!. Honestly, so :)

Dude, I have a few scary-ass stories associated with Ouija boards. I used to own one waaaay back in the day before I became an old fart, lol.

I don't even look their way anymore.

We did this at a friend's house...It's odd because I don't remember ever thinking a board was evil. He had a very religious grandmother, so I'm thinking she must have planted that seed.

My mother still has the board at her house.

Sara, you gots to share!

And I'm the same way now.
I've been so tainted by all those paranormal shows I watch.

Yeah, my friends and I would use the Ouija a lot back when we were teens. I too, never thought of it as something evil. Always wanted to use it in a graveyard, but never did.

Good times......I think.

Sara HAS to share her stories. Me likey good scary stories. :)

Jay....you Must have some stories too...at least one, maybe.
i have 2, But they were told to me by (close) friends, so i guess, that Doesn't really count..

i Don't think the ouija is Evil either..
i think it Can be Dangerous tho, due to misuse, intent or ?.

i LOVE the antique ones!!..they're such a part of Americana history..
in fact, i saw a rerun of a "The Waltons" episode, surrounding a little boy & a ouija--wOw...it was a pretty chilling & exciting episode.. <3

Ok,so I tried typing out the story several times but I just sound crazy, lol. It didn't happen to me personally, so it all sounds urban-legend-y.

My older brother had one which Mom told me never to mess with.

During a summer sleepover, after a few unimpressive results, with three of us touching it we watched it spell "k pup". Hm...nothing right? But my neighbor had just gotten a new puppy, a beagle, that used to reside on the back screen patio, with the windows open of course and did what lonely puppies do at night. We laughed about it, bedded down in my parents cabin tent we had pitched in the back yard and not long after the barking began.

Thanks Jeff for telling that story.
Good delivery too--Awesome & Spooky!
Gave me a Chill on this Intensely HOT day!!!..<3.. :)

That dog barked almost all night. We talked about it with my parents the next morning and the first thing out of my fathers mouth was "I was about ready to kill that damn dog"

Ummm yup

Ok, sorry to take so long. My day yesterday got very busy very quickly and I felt bad telling my kiddos, "Uhm, kids, can you just WAIT for breakfast until I type this comment on this blog about the Ouija board???" :)

So our family friends moved up north and we went to visit them. Kelly, their youngest daughter and closest to me in age was REALLY into the Ouija board. She had set up her own pieced together version in their barn and would contact her dead grandma. She would write down information her dead grandma would give her. Anyway, we attempted to contact her while I was with her and the board got very disturbed and didn't want to say much. So creepy.

Anyway, the story she told me was that her mother(my mom's good friend), when she was younger, had used the Ouija board and that a demon had come through. The demon had told her mom that she would be visited by it. The following days after this contact, a red car pulled up into her driveway. Tinted windows. It would honk for a short while and then drive away. This happened several days in a row.

LOL. It sounds SO LAME when I type it out. But there you have it. I also want to say there's a story about my sister in law's sister. I think she was told some information about her death in the future and she did end up dying at the very young age of 33. It was actually very tragic and I believe it was mentioned to me about the Ouija board predicting it. I'm not going to ask my SiL to confirm that though as it would be in really bad taste.

Also, since the tag for this post is "devil" "satan" etc., my brother and his wife(both Mr. and Mrs. Straight and Narrow) have both seen what they believe to be demons. In fact, my sister-in-law called me in tears the night it happened. As she told me what she witnessed, I started to feel nauseous and extremely scared. It had happened inside the church where she was attending choir practice. When she went out to the car where her husband was waiting with their kids, she told him what she had seen and my brother had actually witnessed similar...creatures outside the church at the same time she was seeing them inside.

Gives me chills even to type this. I mean, it's one thing for a story to come from a friend, but to hear my SiL describe them with real fear in her voice (dark shadows mainly)was unnerving. The part that gets me (and this really does sound like a line from an urban legend)is that she saw one near a particular statue in the church. When she asked the custodian later that week how the church had come to own that particular statue he had no idea WHAT she was talking about. He said they didn't have a stature like that. When she returned to the church, that statue wasn't there.

Fin. :)
Whew. Sorry so long-winded. Obviously, my kids are still asleep. LOL.

Wow. Thanks for sharing.
That last part is chill-inducing.

Like think-about-at-night-while-trying-to-sleep stuff.

Great stories. Makes you think how many times we see things that are just not of human nature.

That shadow in the corner or on the wall. You know you've seen it, but it leaves your mind as you dismiss it as nothing.

yeah, there's Definitely otherworldly stuff going on out there.. :(
