And then I hear this weird howl coming out of the sink. And there's a voice. It's a voice and it's saying: "Do not be afraid."

Mothman

After the first sighting, the men said, the "thing" glided along above the car until their car reached West Virginia Rt. 62. Then it disappeared.

The four drove to downtown Point Pleasant. "When we turned around there it was again. It seemed to be waiting on us," Mallette said.

The track that inspired the photo (and the prop).

Great score by Tomandandy (who also wrote the score for The Mothman Prophecies). Here's one of my favorite cues from the soundtrack: Flying.

My latest obsession, the score to The Mothman Prophecies by Tomandandy.
Absolutely perfect, and very unnerving. I could see putting this in as a soundscape on Halloween night. It's THAT cool.

The second disc contains the score tracks, so click on those samples to get a taste (though there's a ton of dark ambient stuff which doesn't make it into the samples).

Listen to them here.

Indrid Cold
