Michaels Halloween 2018

Pretty happy with this year's offerings from Michaels.  I'd say 80% of their stuff is out already, and it had a nice feel to it.  Not much glitter and there seemed to be more classic designs in the mix this year than previous years.  Hopefully this is a sign of the Halloween shopping season to come...

Junior Mints

Halloween stuff is springing up in the stores...  Michael's and A.C. Moore have some decorations out already.  And the supermarkets have a bunch of Halloween candy.

Loved the design of these Junior Mints, and the fact that they had orange or black mint filling in each piece.  I looked like a weirdo biting these things in half to see the Halloween-colored innards in the parking lot of the local supermarket.  Like I was frantically looking for something...in a weird dark seed.

Basement Witches

Snapped these a few minutes ago.  I like how the smallest Twig Witch came out, as she doesn't look as "friendly" as she did in most of the Haunt photos from 2017.  I think the jaw dimple created an illusion of her smiling fondly.  Hopefully some children thought the same and then were slightly unnerved when they got closer?  I'll never know.
