Saw this little guy featured on syfy's FACT OR FAKED (pretty fun show) and they tried to debunk this thing to no effect. Though it still looks like a puppet wearing a bed sheet.
I think anyone that investigates the paranormal or simply watches the media pertaining to the paranormal ought to first read Carl Sagan's book The Demon-Haunted World: Science as a Candle in the Dark.
Keep an open mind, be skeptical...
I just got the SyFy network back yesterday, I'm going to check this out!
I remember watching a UFO show once and a skeptic had a great quote. He said, "It's OK to have an open mind. Just not so open that your brain falls out."
I saw this last night. My husband is a film expert (both video and still), after watching the clip once, he said that it was totally fake. If not a "simple" puppet on a string, Chroma Key technique could have easily been used to create this.
As a Psych. major myself, I do have to say that, if a team of "investigators" is going to look into paranormal "phenomena", the investigations and findings would be far more credible, if said investigators weren't prone to believing in Ghosts, Aliens, Goblins...etc.

I watched that today...pretty good.
I agree, it looks too fake to be real, I'm sure we could have duplicated it with a few tries...

The problem with your husbands theory is this is cctv. It is analog video not digital.
