I can remember watching this little-known gem when I was a boy and my dad laughing so loud I thought he would die.
The town drunk lighting his massive firework is some serious fun (it starts around the 2 minute mark, but the entire video is WONDERFUL).

I love Jean Shepherd! I don't know how this gem got by me since I love Christmas Story. Really surprised that Netflix didn't have it.

We saw it on PBS only once...I've brought it up to so many people over the years and no one has ever seen it. Thank the gods for youtube.
I know that VHS copies of the taped program used to be on ebay.
