I don't know. Thousands of years ago it crashes, and this thing... gets thrown out, or crawls out, and it ends up freezing in the ice.

Nice. I would love to have that as a costume this year.
The in-camera effects of John Carpenter's "The Thing" are still jaw-dropping today and the cast was perfection. The main star of that movie, though, was paranoia.
