The Shadow Of Saint Nicholas

We saw Krampus last night and had a blast.  The writing and directing were fantastic, with believable characters who you cared more and more about as the darkness descended and the creatures moved in.  It was great finding a mountain of humanity and a ton of Christmas spirit in a horror film.  I couldn't have been more satisfied with how the snowmen were featured in the film.  It still feels very surreal to see them larger than life in a movie theater.  And it's been ridiculously awesome seeing mention of them in the film reviews I've read.
I couldn't be more proud of being a part of this film.  I just saw that it took the number one spot at the box office, and I'm hoping the trend continues.

Thanks, Dan (and K.O.), for the photos!

Once again, Great movie! I hope this becomes a yearly tradition for everyone. I loved how the snowmen got a lot of screen time. It was surreal to watch the credits and wait for your name. If I was you, I woulda jumped up and shouted-" Yeah, that's me. I'll be in the lobby signing autographs!"
Congrats again!

Amazing movie and the snowmen were wonderful! We were the only folks left in the theater who waited and watched all the credits. Applause for Pumpknrot.

Both my son and I were awaiting seeing the snowmen on film. We were so excited when they came on. A perfect blend and combination of whimsical and creepy. Well done. We really loved the movie. They got everything right about the creature and the mythology. Loved his elves. Congrats Rot.

It was truly wonderful! Just the right blend of the legend and original elements to have me geeking out the entire time. A giant grin burst out across my face when I saw those snowmen...instantly thought of them as "snow covered scarecrows", and that completely works with the mythology presented here.

I felt the film hit all the right marks. It perfectly married the humor with horror, and the characters were so believable that I felt like I was right in the room with them. Every frame is as drenched in Christmas atmosphere as Trick r Treat was in Halloween. The sets, costumes, effects, score, cinematography...I really can't find one thing that I didn't think was downright perfect!! I'm dying to see it again, and will probably drag the family out to a viewing this weekend.

Congrats, Rot, on being a part of such a wonderful flick! It will be a must-watch for my Yule Season for years to come!
