Gotta love a local school for having these chops in an age where so much offends. Imagine being a kid and there's a Halloween parade ON Halloween itself? God, I can almost see myself losing that costume contest. Some kid in a homemade dinosaur costume stomping my store-bought Devil getup.

Those were the day of my youth when every school had a costume parade. Then came satanic panic and Halloween was banished. Glad it is making a come back.
Good on that school. After watching Trick R Treat in theaters over the weekend, I realized I've never wanted to live in a fictional town so desperately as I want to live in Warren Valley, Ohio. A big Mardi-Gras-style Halloween parade/party? In the middle of town?? After DARK??? No WAY that would happen "'round these parts"
