Cinnamon sugar and flaky sea salt, for the rim
2 ounces mezcal or silver tequila
1/2 ounce orange liquor
4 ounces (1/2 cup) apple cider
juice from 1/2 a lime
1-2 teaspoons maple syrup use more or less to your taste
apple slices and cinnamon sticks, for serving

Dang it!! Too late! I was thinking about the caramel apple Moscow Mule that KO had posted last year or the year before? And I was going to get the ingredients for that and ended up going with Jack Daniels. I will definitely seek out the ingredients next time for this.
This one is really good. I made one tonight and the Mezcal (no worm) and the cider go really well together.
