So true. And the film accomplishes that rare fusion of comedy and true horror. Despite some silly moments, there's a sense of danger and horror in this one that doesn't exist in a lot of straight horrors.
Heck, yeah...it may be a 'comedy', but by the time those credits roll, we've already had a tour that included human skeletons casually hung on a clothing rack, and a cooler of frozen folks suspended by their heads that are destined for target practice.
Never mind then learning its all sitting above of a basement full of pickled corpses, AND within moments of the music queuing up, we are watching the best face-melting scene outside of Raiders of the Lost Ark'.
Modern horror could learn some things from the first 10-ish minutes of that movie.
Ok, so I couldn't figure out a good way to email them due to the size, so I uploaded them to my Instagram, and tagged you In the comments.see if that works.
Strange as the last mention someone made was two days ago, so I’m not seeing it. I can look up your IG… what’s the name? I won’t post the name here. : )

"Leak?! Hell no...these things were made by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers!"
Truly one of the great opening sequences in 80s horror, and perfectly accompanied by a truly amazing synth track.

I'll have to show you my 245 trioxin tarman barrel I made a few years ago. It's not movie accurate, but neat nonetheless.
Yes, please! Haha
