6 Must Die

I don't believe in luck, good or bad. I don't believe in anything much. Something did happen once. My father was a fisherman. He ran a trawler out of Whitley Reef. One night, late, he was coming back in. He was out beyond the reef, out near Spivey Point. He looked to windward and saw a brig under shortsail, heading right for him. And he radioed, there was no reply. Nothing moved on deck, but she held her course. My dad and two of his hands, they boarded the brig, the Risa Jane. No one was on board. There was food on the table, and a hot, steaming cup of coffee. But underneath, the tin cup was rusted to the table. And then something caught my father's eye. It was a gold doubloon, minted in Spain, 1867. My dad picked up the coin, put it in the breast pocket of his jacket, and zippered it up. He came home, told us the story, and unzippered the pocket to give me the coin. It was gone.

Tom Atkins And Halloween 3

I don't know how I missed the news that Tom Atkins might be in the next Halloween film.
Here's what he said in a Fangoria interview back in March:

Beyond that, Atkins reveals that he, Lussier and Farmer plan to collaborate yet again—on the much-discussed HALLOWEEN III. The third entry in the new Michael Myers franchise begun by Rob Zombie hit a snag with the Weinstein Company a little while back, and the actor says, “They’re still looking for the money, but it’s pretty much set to go this December or early next year. Me and Scout Taylor-Compton are both going to do it.” And his role in the sequel? “Sort of like a Dr. Frankenstein—‘It’s aliiiiive!’ No, I’m a shrink in a mental hospital that Laurie [Taylor-Compton] is in with a bunch of other girls who have been up to no good. I’m trying to help them find a way to the light.”

Halloween III: Season Of The Witch

The great unsung hero of the HALLOWEEN franchise. My personal favorite too. For those who attack the idea of the film being called HALLOWEEN III while containing no Michael Myers, it probably should be known that the original intent was to have a film released each year which delt with a story that took place around Halloween night, with no Michael Myers in sight since he had been killed in HALLOWEEN II. I, for one, would have enjoyed that. Especially when considering the offerings of the sequals which did include Myers (though I happen to enjoy HALLOWEEN IV for the most part, but that's IT).
