Fake Is Cool
What's better than a smoking fake fire or cauldron?
Nothing, that's what.
I could pull up a beach chair and watch something like this for hours....

High Noon Vs Evil Dead
And I still think this song needs to be used in the next season of Ash vs Evil Dead...it's excellent suiting-up music.

The cooler weather we've been having is making me hungry for some new stuff from Halloween at High Noon... absolutely cannot wait for this year's release.

Halloween Fruit
I've seen this photo a lot over the years searching for blog material...and every time I see it I imagine the reaction kids must have as their eyes fall upon it... the bananas already starting to turn brown around the eyes and mouths...the oranges drying out on the surface, with their celery stalk stems' earthy flavor clashing with the sweetness of the oranges.
There are three possibilities as to who initially invented these:
1. Someone who doesn't understand children.
2. Someone who hates children.
3. A Nun.

What's Your Halloween Holy Grail?
It seems the olden days of Halloweening had a lot more to offer by way of unique decorations and interesting finds. Stores these days seem to offer less and have more stuff that's shiny and powdered with glitter.
So I was thinking about what would be my Holy Grail by way of walking into a store and seeing a Halloween decoration/item that would make me gasp and pray it was affordable.
For me, I think it would be some unique ceramic jack o'lantern with an incredible face and a unique finish... or some kind of creepy wall mask, like the one Peter Vincent had hanging in his apartment... or something like this vintage metal Devil ash tray (but in wall art form).
