Watched TRON tonight and I thought I had read something about a sequel, so I checked youtube.
Wow.
Click the pic to watch the trailer:
The music at the end of the trailer felt like something from the golden age of John Carpenter/Alan Howarth. It's by a group called The MCP9000.
My latest obsession:
Click to hear a remix of the track.

That's cool they brought back Jeff Bridges for the part. I remember that original movie was so cutting edge at the time. Does it seem somewhat hokey now with all the advancements in technology?
Rich
It has a real Final Fantasy vibe to it. I dig it.
I was pretty surprised at the effects in the original. I sat down telling myself to get ready for some really distractingly bad effects, but I guess it was the design and the directing that made it anything but that. I saw the film when I was in grade school ONCE and it was crazy how much of the film I remembered.
The director of the new TRON is going to helm the remake of THE BLACK HOLE too. I dig. I dig.
I've watched this on xbox live multiple times..its gonna look sick when it hits Blu-ray. Rot is right..the music is great.
This truly looks amazing. I'm pleased to see that they're keeping the aesthetic of the original, while making it more sleek and modern.
An update of the Black Hole? Excellent!
Wow, I felt like I was in grade school again....I remember when my dad came home from the movie rental store with it and I was like I was on a huge sugar rush!
