Eggs And Flour

A London council has banned under-18s from buying eggs and flour in the run-up to Halloween in an effort to curb anti-social behaviour.

Police will also seize Halloween masks from older children so they can be identified in the case of any criminal activity. CCTV vans will be sent to trouble hot-spots both as a deterrent and as a means of bringing any necessary prosecutions.

Residents will be able to display a poster with the message "No Trick or Treat Here". Police forces across the UK are inundated with complaints over anti-social trick-or-treat activities. These include a growing trend in the Halloween practice of throwing eggs and flour at homes.

Can't wait to ask our family in UK about this one! Every year they try to encourage more kids to trick or treat in their village. For us, file under: Cross Purposes

By "antisocial" I think they mean harmless fun.

If you can't enjoy pulling bog roll out of trees, and washing eggs and flour off your house and car Dia de los muertos morning, you just aren't living.

That's rediculous. Now the kids are going to have to buy eggs weeks in advance, and bury them in their parents gardens to hide them, which will only make the cleanup worse. Taking the masks of 'older children' is even more insane. This makes me want to visit there less and less.

I've been reading more and more about the UK's fight against 'anti-social behavior', meaning anything that the officials don't personally like.

Really people? Taking masks from older kids and banning them from eggs? My dad allways told me to be happy I live in America and not in another contry. Now I know why...
