Steve Jablonsky's score for the new Elm Street film can be sampled on the official site. Happy to report it's quite sophisticated, and even sounds a little like James Newton Howard's The Village in parts.
I used Jablonsky's music from The Transformers in my Tin Man video.

Thanks for the head's up. I was going to listen to it but figured it was crap. Excited to hear it now!
I LOVE how it's an actual score as opposed to a whole bunch of artists doing songs for the film(like Creed's song in Halloween H20-UGH). Maybe I'm wrong, but it seemed that way at least.
Loved Jablonsky's score for Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning. The main title theme is still one of my favorites. Sadly it wasn't the greatest film to score, but great work nonetheless.
Cautiously optimistic about this one. The score does sound great and I am a fan of Jackie Earle Haley since his performance as Rorschach. We shall see...
