This photo reminded me of a coworker who has since retired. Every Halloween season she would start wearing to work a shiny witch hat with built-in orange hair. She was close to 60 years of age and it looked rather perfect on her. She lived alone and told me she'd sit on the porch in an old wooden chair and hand out candy. She commented that children would almost always skip her house, and those being led by parents would react in a way that would make their parents also skip her house.

Probably because she looked something like this up there on her porch.
