Saw an episode of Animal Planet's The Haunted last night. Once again blown away by the production value and the content. And once again, creeped out by the oral history of the residents involved. This episode in particular is the scariest I've seen.
LOVE this show.

Thanks for posting this. I love The Haunted, too. Fantastic episode.
I have to admit to having doubts because of the network involved, but I have to say this is one of the better places to watch a good, ol' fashioned ghost story.
At the very least, it's nice that they usually don't involve goofballs with flashlights and Radio Shack gadgets trying to "scientifically" verify the presence of spirits.
Ditto (treble?) on huge love for The Haunted.
Re: Jon Glassett's take on any goofballs traipsing through for a "paranormal investigation"-
Hell No,
You'd Ruin This Show.
While I haven't watched this episode yet (it's waiting for me in the dark recesses of my DVR), I have to concur with your assesment of the show. I really appreciate you turning me on to it, as I would have probably gone on ignoring it like I do 90% of the "paranormal investigation" shows. This one is definitely several notches above the rest, and is certainly the most believable. The productionalone gives it a far creepier feel than any of the other shows of this type.
