Here's to the lingering Halloween decorations that are still out there, scattered on people's lawns and dangling from trees and bushes.

I still have the jacko I used on my scarecrow sitting out front. I tried to leave the whole scrarecrow up,but the misses wouldn't let me. I even offered to put a santa hat on top....
The walkway down the street is still haunted by a 4 foot, gauzy white ghost-on-a-post, complete with the three black ovals for a face. I'm hoping he hangs on through December.
Up till Sunday, I still had a full size toe pincer lying in the middle of my front lawn ;) What's really funny is that there are a lot of houses for sale on my street right now, so I can only imagine what the perspective buyers throught when they saw the coffin ;)
Great photo. Rather sums up the end of Halloween 2011.
My yard is finally empty of decorations, but the carport is littered with some still. (up in front of the car, where nobody else can see the mess). I still have to do the Tetris-like organization of the shed. Ugh.
I have decided to leave the scarecrow up all winter. It just looks right. My banshee is still on front porch and I've decided to put a winter scarf and maybe a knit hat on her for Christmas. Happy Turkey Day to all.
So cool that you posted this now.
I JUST saw one of these 'lingerers'. Very, very special considering Halloween decorations are a rare sight in NZ, let alone ones in late November.
And this wasn't just any decoration. A life sized demon hanging from a porch with huge black winds flapping in the (insanely stong) wind.
I want to send gifts to the owners. Lots of gifts.
Headed out of town and havent been back for a while. The pumpkin graveyard will be in full effect when I get home Sunday.
