That time I didn't dress as a Pumpkin Head nor as Michael Audrey Myers. Keep in mind this was before you could buy a Freddy glove or a rubber Krueger mask, as the film had just come out. The makeup was knox gelatin and scalding, scar-inducing hot water, and blends of red and tan makeup. Very uncomfortable, but it was fun opening kids' trick-or-treat bags with the blade on my index finger.
The flash of the camera ruins the spookiness. So does my goofy defeated grin.

THE BEST AROUND! Hahaha man what a great job. Love it. We would’ve gotten along back in the day. Me in my Leatherface getup lol. Haha
haha oh, totally!
no doubt.
and thanks!
Wow - you are one creative young man!
and you can almost see a box of DOTS in the basket back there!
I'm VERRRRYYY theatrical, Lady M.
Wow! This is Awesome! Man, you were totally creative way back then. Thats's a great makeup! I have fond memories of hot gelatin and women's concealer makeup that I borrowed from my Mom, of course, for my terminator makeup. You, Sara, and I would've totally gotten along and turned heads at the mall food court with some Orange Julius before heading to Spencer's. Whose Mom can pick us up? =) Oh, I have to swing by Radio Shack to get my battery of the month battery.
My mom would pick us up... she lived for gossip and meddling in my life.
Spencer's! dear lord. I am going to buy a JOURNEY poster and one of Heather Locklear.
And that grin is a little more smug than goofy I feel. Cause ya Froderick Krueger- Nightmare maker, generic candy passer outer.
haha maybe!
This is pure gold! Awesome work, Rot!
Thanks!
I remember making a Freddy "mask" out of liquid latex, cheap clown makeup, and toilet paper. My first wife recently posted a picture of me in that outfit (she was dressed as Lt Valeris from Star Trek 6)! Hey...we did what we could with what we had available!
Looking at this photo and knowing what the makeup is makes my face itch and triggers so many fond memories of Halloweens passed spent in "makeup misery"
"makeup misery" is the BEST phrase. All for the Craft. haha
