Samhain Cemetery

All these traditions,
jack-o'-lanterns,
putting on costumes,
handing out treats,
they were started to protect us,
but nowadays...
no one really cares.

I care, Steven Wilkins.  I care.

I agree completely, Halloween isn't anything like it started out to be in Celtic England, Scotland, Wales, and Ireland. It was to offer protection from spirits, demons, and ghosts during the preparations for the "dark" half of the year. It was a time to remember your ancestors and leave offerings for them.
The total commercialization of Samhain has taken most of its meaning and forgotten it.
