Bell, Book And Candle

We watched this terrific film last night and I wanted to recommend it to anyone looking to add something a little different to their Christmas season lineup.  It's ahead of its time in the portrayal of witchcraft and the supernatural and loaded with great performances.  Click below to get a brief intro by Sam Hamm on Trailers from Hell.

One of Mr. Haunted Eve's favorite "Creepmas" movies since he was a kid. Own it on Blu-ray and before that on DVD. How can you go wrong with the likes of Jimmy Stewart, Kim Novak, Elsa Lanchester (the Bride of Frankenstein herself), Jack Lemmon, and Ernie Kovacs? And who wouldn't want to spend an evening hanging out in the Zodiac Club? There was talk over the years of remaking this film, but why mess with perfection!

I had never even heard of it so I was really grateful Jenna suggested this one. We made martinis as it seemed appropriate. Haha

I would absolutely love to hang out in the Zodiac Club! Glad to see it is still appreciated, Mr. and Mrs. Haunted Eve :)

One of my all-time favorite films! I love Kim's wardrobe and the set design. I just dislike the ending, why does she have to lose her magic?
