I have to admit that I'm mesmerized by flames in a Haunt. Sure it's dangerous (especially when at ankle height), but just LOOK at it...
So cool.

Yeah that's awesome looking - great atmosphere. But yeah, the first time a trick-or-treater goes up in flames it's all over. Those flames must have been strategically placed for the photos.
The skulls piled amongst river stones give a great effect too.
The sparse light of the fire pots revealing just little enough to get the guest's imagination working.
I love the use of real fire in a haunt. It casts cool, dancing shadows that makes a static prop come alive. I will be doing more then I usually do this year.
I'm in love with that rocky bone-yard and how the skulls nearly blend in with the rocks. The skulls sneak up on you like that. It makes me want to do some cement skulls to set out on Halloween night with lanterns downstairs.
HELL YES!!
I know.
Must have flame.
That looks amazing!! I myself am a tealight freak come the big night. Problem is they burn out too fast and then I'm running around trying to re-light.
