Halloween Is Almost Over

Success.  The rain held off til everyone was gone.  Some heavy winds occasionally came through, pushing over my stalks and blowing out some candles, but everything held up just fine.  After I put the scarecrows in the garage, I started pulling the cords to the lights and stopped after the orange bulbs went dark.  Loved how just the outer blue bulbs looked with the jackos.

So imagine a light rain falling to these shots...

Not a bad way to end Halloween.

Nice pics. It was a nice end to the evening. After all was said and done, I just sat out back and enjoyed tne haunt.

Nice! Yeah we had a similar experience here. It drizzled off and on, and the wind occasionally gusted and at other times was completely still.

Those are some beautiful photos. Glad to hear the weather played out in your favor. It was hot here, but no rain. We went walking around in biggest Trick R Treating event I have ever seen... no joke, around 2,000 people Trick R Treating in a 5 block area. So many kids, decorated houses... and me dressed in a very simple ghost costume with just a little blood. :)

For the most part, the rain held off here, too. Happy Hallowe'en!

Looks great!. What brand/kind of bulbs do you use for the purple flood? Love how deep the purple is. The purple floods I've gotten turn out more whiteish than purple.

Looks purple on this monitor too, but they're two blue florescent bulbs. Standard kind found in Lowes or Home Depot.

*sigh* after a very, VERY misty and chilly(could see my breath) halloween day... The rain started just in time for trick 'r treaters.. Surprisingly though, we still had a good number of people. I thanked them PROFUSELY for coming out! And.. As soon as trick 'r treating was wrapping up, the rain really started falling and the temperature turned crazy warm! Oh well, there's always next year...

Ahhh the rain. It wasn't too bad...but we had the worst turn out we've had in years. Total bummer of a night. We did head a few streets over to check out a walk through we saw going up during the day. It was very basic...but with lighting, music, and some volunteers dressing up and walking around...it was pretty damn awesome!! I also discovered where everyone that was out trick or treating was hanging out grrrrrr. Game on!! :-)
