The Film That Wasn't

Interesting article about a proposed Vampirella film which never came to be.  Hammer actress Caroline Munro was up for the part.
















I would have fully endorsed this decision.  And I'm sure fan letters would have ensued.  And self-appointed presidential appointments to the Vampirella Fan Club would have ensued.

Hammer's end game movies were suffering and taking on a bit of a soap opera vibe. I'm not sure how this movie would have looked then but if they would have done it the 60's I can only imagine that it would have been one of their biggest franchises. Carolyn would have been too young but Hammer never had a problem finding vampire women...
