Rue Morgue Magazine Sightings?

Has anyone found the October/Halloween issue of Rue Morgue?  Our bookstores only have September's issue.  If I go in there one more time and see that old issue, I'm going to be like Christ in the temple...pushing crap over.

I have to admit to being surprised to find a "Jesus" label...as well as a "what would jesus do" tag.

Apparently, I'm a holy man.

It's ridiculous how long it is taking to get our hands on this thing.

I wish there were a parable about patience I could whip up right about now.

Patience is nothing but a myth, for I know I have none.
You probably won't see the October issue until December. :D

Go digital if you can. Immediate gratification. Although, if you are like my husband, you want the satisfaction of a physical object that sits on a shelf (collecting dust and eventually valuable shelf or storage space...grumble, grumble).

I tried downloading the mag to my iphone and my phone exploded.

I like old fashioned mags the best, too. I refuse to go Kindle. Or Nook. Or whatever.

Oh, and here: Luke 18-1:8 :)

Yeah, it's weird, I have no problem reading e-books (for the most part,) but I just can't get down with electronic versions of magazines. (Especially Halloween related ones.)

I am a subscriber and have not received the issue yet.

So strange.
I wonder what happened.

I'm assuming US delivery isn't always this late?

Usually the new issues hit my mailbox around the end of the preceding month. Never this late.

My copy (subscription) arrived last night! I don't see it available locally though.

Great issue - loved seeing PumpkinRot featured! Did they misprint the part about Pittsburgh? Yinz ams 'round Philly right?

And to boot they featured one of my products (Lil Timmy) in the "Needful Things" section of this same issue!

I love Rue dearly - they have been very good to my band The Creeping Cruds over the years with generous coverage. Great folks from Canadia!

Total misprint beings I never mentioned at all where I was from (and they didn't ask).

And he screwed up the story about how I got the Mr. Jones gig...Stan Winston's school told him to come my way. The interview says that I sent him my way.

I find these kinds of mistakes unforgivable.

Been looking since the day you've mentioned it, few friends who are subscribers still don't have it. Very strange. Sucks they misrepresented you somewhat.... the Winston thing.... that is crazy.... if you do decide to come to Pittsburgh, stop by and give me some pointers..." quit, you again, quick Bean.... run!" I'll take whatever you have. Glad you posted it by the way...

I had the same exact experience at NYC's Union Square Barnes and Noble when I went there to get a copy earlier this month. They only had the September issue, though it was past October 1. :/
