No pumpkins selling yet in Nashville area. Attempted to grow a hardskin variety in the driveway this year but they do keep dying on the vine.
Last chance for one to stick and grow to at least grapefruite size probably needs to happen this week.

It's a total heatwave here as well.
I am ready for a cool off even if it's rainy..

Booooo. It's still summer here. Although we had a cool-front blow in and it's only going to be 95 degrees for the next few days. And college football starts tomorrow. No punkins here are at least another month or so.

Bravo. Glad to see you're getting back in the spirit once again. I planted sugar pumpkins, to be made into lanterns, in early June and have very little to show for it. Next year I'm starting them in doors. Still using lantern from last winter out on the patio, with a candle. The pumpkin dried nice and hard like a good gourd should (after spraying insides with vinegar solution) and is a great little lantern.
