Swamp Foetus At ScareLA

Nina from the always-cool Vintage Seance blog sent me some photos from the screening room at this month's ScareLA Halloween event in California.  Wasn't expecting it to be on such a large screen.  Absolutely awesome.  Would have loved to have been in that room (hiding in the back).

Thanks, Nina!
REALLY appreciate this.

Very cool, there isn't a screen too large or too exclusive.

So great that she sent you pics!

Did she give you any feedback on people's reaction?

she has a great stopmotion movie that played there on Sunday.

Yeah, I'd like to see it on a bigger screen too, or how about an IMAX screen. :)

You know, if something happened like that in the Philadelphia area, and you went, you couldn't hide in the back. Everyone would be looking for you back there.

How does one go about acquiring a full print of the film?
I am moving my annual Horror Hootenanny event to our local horror theater (Cult Fiction in Nashville) and it would be awesome to include this as a feature this year along with Texas Chainsaw Massacre hosted by 'Grandpa' John Dugan and Munsters episodes (hopefully hosted by Butch Patrick) amongst our live horror music and Halloween costume party...

I used the wmv file from my site and burned it to a dvd using a standard dvd burning option on my computer. Seemed to transfer nice and clear.

We will we ever see another cinematic effort from Pumpkinrot Pictures, LLC?

Rot said...

I hate to say never, so if there ever is another effort it'll probably be on a much smaller scale.

Yay! I'm glad you got the pics! It was a really cool experience. As for audience reaction, you could definitely feel how impressed people were, think I heard a few "cool's" and "aw sick's" ... what can I say, it's California ;)
