It is very difficult for me to pin down favorites to a reasonable number, but “The Thing” is for sure in my Top Five, favorite horror movies.
Yeah. I agree. That's definitely up there in the top five, if not three. Though I honestly don't know the other two. It's always changing, and I feel like I don't want to commit. But in regards to the horror films that have brought me the most joy and have stayed with me, I'd say (not in order):
Fright Night
Exorcist III
Halloween III
The Thing
House of the Devil
The Legend of Hell House
The Haunting
The Shining
Yeah...Halloween III is in that lineup for me.
