Oh my gosh that is a really good idea! To frame it. You can also get a high-quality copy of it and frame that. I did that with several books when my oldest son was little. I framed images from my favorite childhood books, my sister-in-law printed them on high-quality paper. Or, just frame the book itself if you’re not reading it! I support this idea.
The artwork is so pure and simple and interesting. And amazing. We really did treat this book as some kind of Halloween Bible... and it was stored with our halloween decorations in the attic of my parents' house, so it wasn't out all year long...so that made it something of an annual Tradition. But so odd that it would then be placed back in the box and stored for another year up there.

Just looked up the book and the illustrations are really nice throughout.
Click the book title tag and there are some old scans I did of the book illustrations for an earlier blog post.
Love this!

Lovely artwork! I'll need to find this!
That's really cool you did that, Sar.
I love Errol Le Cain! I remember reading this as a kid, and the artwork is still just as magical.
