Rot, you got me curious about the newer version of Dune by Denis Villeneuve. Hans Zimmer scored the film and I listened to a sampling on youtube, 'Dream of Arrakis'. Wowza! Highly provocative...makes me want to go see the later film. Already a sense of more depth than the 'rock concert' vibe that's in the Lynch film. (but I still love it and always will)
I saw that new one recently and was pleasantly surprised. I will always be a huge fan of the original too.
Highly recommend the latest...and you have to watch it since they're making a Part II!
