I've never heard of this documentary before, I'll have to check it out.

This documentary really makes you miss the age of local television with all the different variations of horror hosts. Growing up in Indianapolis, ours was "Sammy Terry's Nightmare Theater." As a kid, it never occurred to me that the name "Sammy Terry" was based on the word "cemetery!" https://youtu.be/IdXJOoxceYE?si=MctPG1UVXH1vPUMt

Excellent timing...I just happened to have an oh-so-generous $1.50 'digital coupon' from our E-commerce Overlords just laying around, and this was a great use for it.

A great mix of nostalgia, kitsch, old clips, and anecdotes / observations from random c-tier celebrities (Curtis Armstrong!?!).

It was enjoyable to revisit the antics of some of the familiar hosts, and fun to see some of the various hosts that were either entirely new, as well as to put faces to the names that are always floating around in the horror community ether.

(Irrespective of how AMAZING on-demand viewing / listening is, I think I will always miss appointment viewing like that to some extent)

You need to check out CREATURE FEATURES on YouTube, there's a library of old/obscure horror movies that are hosted by 3 different, but cool characters. They're still on the air in parts of California, but everything is put up on YouTube after it's aired.
Brings back memories of watching ELVIRA and GRIMMSLEY in the 70's and 80's.
