Gonesh

If Dark Candles is the official candle company of my haunt, then Gonesh is the official incense maker. I remember the first time I saw a package of Ghostly Glow incense. I didn't even bother to sniff the cardboard container - I mean, look at the design... a smiling jack o'lantern and the words "THE BEST HALLOWEEN INCENSE." To my knowledge, it's the ONLY Halloween incense, but for all I care it really IS the only one. The sweet spicy scent IS Halloween. I just got another shipment and decided to try their Spooky Brew incense. The description on the pumpkin-orange box reads: "Apple Cider with a hint of spooky stuff." I can smell the cider, but can't place the incredible undertones for the life of me. I've been forced to agree with them - it must be spooky stuff.

I LOVE this company. I LOVE IT.

Hmm... im a sucker for halloween/pumpkin spice scents. Gonna have to get some of these!

I currently buy a pumpkin spice oil from a fellow on ebay, I heat it up with a tealigt candle in my pumpkin oil burner.

You always find the neatest things and you always teach me one more level to add to a haunt. Thanks, PumpkinRot.

Yeah man, you try the 'Spirit of Autumn'? Description: Woodsy, like burning leaves.

I will have to give these a try.
Nothing like having a halloween smell lingering in the nighttime air

I've tried the Spirit of Autumn and the Thanksgiving scent and the're great too. The Spirit of Autumn is a nice sweet scent like a campfire with someone tossing some leaves on it. At those prices, it's easy to try them all. Quick shipping too.

Rot, do you use the incense outdoors for your haunt? I thought once you said you use the candles outside (clove I think).

I use both. The Ghostly Glow incense is placed places where it'll be safe from getting kicked over. Usually around the base of the large pine tree and behind the jack o'lanterns. I've used multiple scents for the candles from Dark Candles - Clove, Coffin, Haunted House.

This year I'll only use Clove candles - but I'll never give up on the incense (which have a strong clove-ish base). Plus it adds a small amount of smoke/fog/mist. : )

Gonesh is one company that truly lives up to their boast: "The Best." If you play D&D, burn #6 (Ancient Times) by itself or with Green Mountains or Spring Mist. I keep Ancient Times in the house at all...times...
