Garden Incense

Maybe it's just a byproduct of being a Haunter, but I love foggy movement.  As a static prop guy, I think fog from the fogger or incense smoke from cauldrons animates a display.  For years, I've been burning incense sticks, cones, or resin in my small porch garden.  Sure, I get some strange looks from people passing by, but I think it's a very neat and natural effect.  And I know if I ever saw someone's garden venting vapors like Centralia, PA, well, I'd stop and watch.

In the below video I've placed just one regular sized incense cone in each iron cauldron, and it created a nice gentle movement (I think).

Garden Incense should be a thing.  Martha needs to talk about this immediately.

I have 3 fog machines running in my small yard haunt every Halloween. Lighting, fog placement makes or breaks a fun haunt. Digging the incense and will just have to get a few small pots this year. Great idea!

I hope garden incense catches on. I definitely want to give it a try, and maybe incorporate it into this year's haunt.

I need a new fogger this year. Been using only one a year, and I always dread that first test.

It makes the garden look lived in. Like your waiting for little old lady to pop up and welcome you.

HMU if you want white out conditions. I don't have a lot of luck with fog. I had a cheapo Machine that spat out a pitiful amount of fog, so I upgraded and now you can't see through it... I need a chiller. Badly.

Haha...I've been there. Pure white on the porch to the point of me worrying some poor kid will fall.

I need to try this site, the last scents I bought were from dark candles.

That is a nice effect. In other gardens I might stop and smell the roses but in yours smell the garden incense.
