HomeGoods Halloween 2022

Mega early for Halloween merchandise, but loads of it has already appeared at HomeGoods.

Thanks, Wren!  I never would have gone out looking today had you not given me a heads up.  Was not expecting stuff this early!

Wonderful. The anticipation is the most beautiful joy. Let the games begin.

That's very cool, but at the same time, it's too soon? Halloween in July probably means Christmas will start showing up in August now.

Yeah, I feel like the days that I remember from when I was younger are totally gone. I liked going out in September and October and seeing Halloween decorations. I have fond memories of checking stuff out during the actual cooler months of Autumn. Like you could still go a week before Halloween and stuff would be on the shelves in local stores.
I'm excited seeing stuff so early though, but the downside of that is how we all know it'll all be gone come mid-August. Like it's fun to see this stuff now and to keep checking to see what comes out, but it'd be nice having Halloween merchandise closer to Halloween. Even in September.

I agree it feels too early for this much Halloween out, however I like to have all my Halloween shopping done by early September so that I can enjoy all of the seasonal festivities in Sept and October. I’m thinking this is a fluke year with all of the supply chain shenanigans.

I wonder if the East is sooner than here. Often there won't be Halloween stuff out until the back to school frenzy is over. Anyone check out a Homegoods out west yet? It's great to see all the goodies though! I remember Michael's Halloween stuff still coming in AFTER Halloween last year. They were really messed up on supply chains. They were marking it all 75% off to get rid of it before Christmas. Thanks for the sneak peek Rot!

I’d have to go in with my wallet locked in the car.
Painful self control…

Yeah. It's a hard time of year for spending. And a lot of the stuff at HomeGoods was priced nice and inflated-like. Like everything else these days. Stuff used to be pretty cheap there. So definitely lock the wallet up.
