More California Haunting

I have a feeling CA is very conducive to elaborate Haunts since there is very little rain there.  Like we're dealing with wind, rain, hurricanes, and freak ice storms out here on the east coast come October.   It's kinda not fair.

Welcome to CA! The land of elaborate haunts, no weather, and gas prices that suck. Haha

And I guess earthquakes could ruin a home haunt. I'm feeling a little better.

Yah - but here in the west we are on fire frequently and have no water.

Yes, CA is perfect for haunts. I've been doing this now for about 18 years and only on one Halloween did we have a bit of a sprinkle towards the end of the night. Usually Halloween is 70 degrees without a hint of wind. We have bare candlesticks in candelabra outside all night without them blowing out. No coats are ever required.

Wow. That's an impressive weather record. LOVE that you get to use a real candelabra.

Lol! I have to go with Sara and company as the 'not fair' aspect is greatly balanced out by high taxes and gas prices. Also we really do have a water crisis. I have not planted one pumpkin vine. Zippo. I'm already going through pumpkin growing withdrawal and it's only July. I just had a friend call me from Iowa as he is sitting in his patch with a few questions about vine maintenance. Orange envy is really a thing!

No worries! I have been thoroughly convinced I have it made on the east coast! ; )
