Too much to be just a coincidence. Even how they made up naming conventions for license plates they'd see. Mind you, this is not a complaint! I kinda love it.
That's way too Uncanny! i think someone definitely did a Law & Order with ripping from the headlines for the beginning of Jeepers Creepers. The beginning of Jeepers Creepers in my opinion is one of the scariest things EVER. It's just Horrifying. The first time i watched it i kinda felt like i couldn't breathe because i really felt that scared! This segment is very scary too & that couple were SO brave!
& Robert Stack with that voice!!! Swoon. He was such a sport doing Beavis & Butt-head Do America. haha.<3
I agree about that beginning. One of the greatest moments in cinema right there. I will never forget that first time seeing that truck flying up from behind.
Don't know if you saw it or not but It's been said that Steven Spielberg's TV movie "Duel" is also a big influence for Jeepers Creepers. It's pretty intense. You might like it!

Interesting parallels to elements of that movie.

I love it too and it’s a neat reminder of how good Jeepers is and how great this show was.
I had no idea Jeepers Creepers was inspired by a true story! Very interesting

This is an intense episode. So glad that creep bit the dust in the end.
