Necrobones Halloween 2021

Always the first-featured yard haunt and it was another wonderful year for Necrobones.  Imagine being a child and turning the corner and seeing this place glowing in the distance.

Thanks for posting my haunt, as always! I tried some experiments this year. It's not the first time that I pulled the fence line further out toward the sidewalk, but I feel this is the first time I did it successfully. I always used to set the fence between the trees so that the entire graveyard could be lit from above and the sides together. With the haunt further toward the sidewalk, I can't easily light from above without the floods blasting people in the face. So instead, I used the floods to light the rear of the graveyard, and the ground spikes to light the front. Some short-ranged color-adjustable LED floods are proving useful for lighting individual props too. This year I didn't use any red in the larger floods, but used some orange-red in those accent lights instead, creating a nice multi-zone effect. I used a longer exposure time on the camera, so everything looks brighter this year. I may dial that back again next time.
