Horrible Scary Dummies

How the very first ventriloquist act wasn't quickly beaten down is way beyond me.

Full-sized terror.

I'm not surprised people from the turn of the century were into this creepy stuff, they also took photos of their dead loved ones, right? All posed and sitting in chairs and stuff? ::shudder::

Creepy! The one that haunts me the most is Lieutenant Herman with his ventriloquist dummy, 1870 - http://www.flickr.com/photos/nationallibrarynz/2048988958/

Let's see, what is the term I'm trying to think of, hmmmmmmmm....oh yes, NIGHTMARE FODDER!

Each and every one of them look like they should be locked in a cabinet with a sign on it saying "POSSESSED DOLL-NEVER OPEN".

I wanted one of those dummies so bad when I was little, and when my parents finally got me one I was too creeped out by it to play with it much. So it just there sat in the corner. Staring at me.
